100 Years

Fairfield Illinois Rotary Club

The Fairfield Rotary Club is proud to celebrate a century of “Service Above Self” in our community. Since 1925, our club has brought together local leaders and volunteers dedicated to making Fairfield a better place to live, work, and grow. This fall, we invite you to join us as we honor our legacy, engage with our neighbors, and look ahead to the next 100 years.

Centennial Events Schedule

November 4 & 6 – Membership Events

Curious about Rotary? Come learn more about what we do and how you can get involved. We plan to have a Coffee & Conversations membership drive on the morning of November 4th as well as a Meet & Greet on evening of November 6th at Jovalou Restaurant. More details will be released soon.

Both events are open to the public—bring a friend!

November 14 – 100th Anniversary Dinner

Our centennial celebration concludes with a formal dinner honoring Fairfield Rotary’s history and future. This dinner will be hosted at the Fairfield Elks Lodge and catered by Big Boy BBQ. Meal will include Prime Rib or Smothered Chicken, 2 sides, a roll and 2 dessert options. There will also be a cash bar, guest speakers who have been influential in our history as a club, stand-up comedy, and a silent auction! Tickets are $50 each or $350 for a table of 8. The proceeds from this benefit will go towards a future dog park in memory of past Fairfield Mayor and long time Rotarian Mike Dreith.

Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future

The Fairfield Rotary Club was chartered in 1925 and has grown through decades of service, leadership, and fellowship. Rotary International opened membership to women in 1987 following a landmark Supreme Court ruling, and today, our club proudly operates under the leadership of co-presidents Abbi Mosson and Claire Vaughan.

As we reflect on 100 years of impact, we’re more energized than ever to continue building a better Fairfield for generations to come. Let’s make this centennial one to remember. Thank you for being part of our Rotary story.
