Leadership Roles

  • President

    As president, you lead and motivate your club, ensuring that club members feel valuable, inspired, and connected to each other.

    Presidents also preside over club and board meetings, appoint committee chairs and members, work with your district governor and assistant governor.

  • Secretary

    As club secretary you help your club run smoothly and effectively. You also monitor club trends to help identify strengths and areas for improvement, and share this information with club and district leaders.

    The secretary maintains membership records, minutes of club, board, and committee meetings and works with incoming secretary to ensure smooth transition.

  • Treasurer

    As club treasurer you play an important role in your club’s ability to carry out service projects, fundraise, and support The Rotary Foundation.

    As treasurer, you manage club funds, collect and submit dues and fees, report on the state of your club’s finances and work directly with the Rotary Foundation.

  • Executive Committee

    The Executive Committee, also known as the Club Administration Committee includes the current President(s), Past President(s), Secretary, and Treasurer. This group meets at the beginning of each fiscal year to set the club’s dues, approve the budget, and ensure smooth operational planning. Additional meetings are held as needed to address matters outlined in the club bylaws

  • Membership Committee

    The Membership Committee is dedicated to growing and strengthening our club through strategic recruitment, meaningful engagement, and inclusive practices. This committee focuses on attracting new members, enhancing the Rotary experience for current members, and supporting a smooth, welcoming orientation for newcomers.

  • Service Project Committee

    The Service Project Committee leads the club’s efforts to serve and support the Fairfield community through hands-on projects and outreach initiatives. This committee identifies local needs, coordinates service opportunities, and ensures our work aligns with Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”

  • Fundraising Committee

    The Fundraising Committee plays a vital role in supporting our club’s service projects by organizing events and campaigns that generate financial resources for local impact. This committee plans and executes creative, community-driven fundraisers throughout the year, helping sustain scholarships, outreach efforts, and special initiatives.

  • Marketing Chair

    The Marketing Chair is responsible for promoting the Rotary Club’s activities, events, and mission through effective media relations, advertising, and digital outreach. This role oversees the club’s presence on social media, manages website content, and ensures consistent branding to increase visibility and community engagement.

  • Grant Writer

    The Grant Writer researches and applies for local, district, and international grants to help fund the club’s service projects and initiatives. This role plays a key part in maximizing the club’s resources and impact by securing additional financial support to better serve the community.
